Significance of Mucuna Pruriens in Ayurveda: Ayurveda prescribed the seeds of this herb for male virility. The latest research only confirms this fact. It is because the hormone dopamine is directly related to mood elevation and sexuality in humans. The roots of this plant are dried and powdered to be used as laxative. It is beneficial for kidney and nervous system related troubles. Leaves of this herb can crab ulcers too.
