Acid reflux is a chronic condition which causes GERD and heartburn. The problem can be minimised with proper acid reflux diet. This diet avoid foods that causes acid reflux.

The condition is caused by too much of acids in stomach. When the valve called esophageal sphincter valve, located in the lower stomach becomes weak and opens upwards, it causes stomach acids to back flow into the esophagus. The problem can be prevented by foods which do not cause too much acidity.
