Flatulence: What are the Causes of Flatulence?

  • Close your mouth while eating
  • Cut down on aerated drinks
  • Maintain proper bowel movement
  • Take medicines prescribed by the doctor
  • Exercise for at least 30 minutes
  • Practise Yoga

Home remedies for flatulence

Some home remedies for flatulence are:

  • Mix the juice of clove and ginger in lukewarm water. Drink this during excessive flatulence.
  • Drink the solution of baking soda, lemon juice, salt and water.
  • Flatulence can be cured by consuming castor oil added to a glass of milk.
