Stomach bloating is something that happens when an individual takes in lot of air or eats food in large amounts especially, those foods that he/she is allergic to. This can happen due to gas problems or to people who cannot tolerate lactose. When it happens the stomach becomes bigger in size and there are many medical conditions that stimulate stomach bloating. When there is an abnormal bloating and when there is no medical reason for bloating, you should consult a doctor because it can also be due to a tumour. There are some simple stomach bloating remedies that you can follow.

Stomach Bloating Remedies

There many stomach bloating remedies that can be done at home. They include:

  • If bloating is followed by constipation then one simple remedy is to take fruits.
  • You should drink lots of water and eat fiber rich foods.
  • Exercise is another key factor that reduces constipation and relieves your bloating as well.
  • If the bloating is due to gas problem then drink a lot of aerated drinks as it helps to cure stomach bloating.
  • Seeds of chamomile, celery can be chewed or prepare tea out of ginger and peppermint as this can be useful.
  • Eucalyptus oil and clove is also very much useful in treating stomach bloating.
  • Boil water and then add cinnamon and honey. Take this mixture as this is found to give relief against stomach bloating.
  • Another best way to prevent bloating is by not talking when you eat your meals.
  • Prevent the use of substances like fruits that have fructose and dishes that contain lactose.
  • Raw broccoli and cauliflower should not be taken because they are hard to digest.
  • Never try to skip the main meals.
  • Drink lots of water daily.
  • Aerated drinks, sweets and spicy foods should be avoided.
  • Fruits and vegetables should be taken without the peel.
  • Seeds of vegetables and fruits should be taken after cooking properly.

These are some of the simple stomach bloating remedies. Though bloated stomach is not a disease and sometimes you may suffer from bloating due to some of the medications. Try to avoid foods that bloat your stomach and eat healthy foods to prevent stomach bloating.
