Acupressure Therapy for Indigestion Problems:

It has been observed that around 25 percent of the US population suffer from problems related to indigestion. This can be attributed to the lifestyle that we have got used to. Consumption of processed foods, high-fat foods, excessive smoking and drinking can all lead to dyspepsia.

Stomach Related Points:

There are two points on the back, viz. B23 and B47. Applying pressure on these points can resolve problems like indigestion, abdominal cramps and stomachaches. People who suffer from back pain must be careful while exerting pressure on these points.

Intestine and Gallbladder Related Points:

Applying pressure on the point Sp4 which is located on the top of the foot can help alleviate problems like indigestion and abdominal problems. This also helps increase the overall health of the digestive system.

Kidney, Liver and Spleen:

The Sp-6 point is located on the stomach can deal with several problems related to the kidney, liver and the spleen. Most digestive problems can be treated by applying pressure on this point.

Nausea and Vomiting:

The point P6 which is located just below the wrist deals with problems like indigestion, nausea and stomachaches. Apart from digestion related problems, applying pressure on this point also helps relive anxiety.

Abdomen:

The CV12 and the CV6 points located on the abdomen help resolve symptoms of GERD like bloating, abdominal pain and constipation.
